Where can I go?? (This is the polite answer) Tthe first question that a new leader needs to find an answer for, is: where can I lead a walk? You can probably think of somewhere you would like to go, but if you need a suggestion, try the list below. |

Short list of walks for new (and other) leaders We are very lucky to have many interesting walks within a short drive. With the exception of the last two walks which are in the mountains, those listed below would be suitable for anytime of the year, although they could be a bit hot in summer. In the summer, it is 10 to 15 degrees cooler in the mountains, so it is best to go there, including Mt Buffalo. Most of these walks are on tracks and navigation is easy.
